About Payment Methods for City Taxes

City Tax Pay Schedule

Recommended Bank Transfer (Automatic Withdrawal)

Payment Service Available at Convenience Stores

Starting fiscal year 23 (Heisei 23 / 2011), municipal tax and other fees can be paid at your nearby convenience store in addition to financial institutions and City Hall. Unrestricted from City Hall’s business hours, you can make payments at convenience stores on weekends, holidays and in evenings. Further, payments can be made at convenience stores outside of Koka City. Please take full advantage of this new service and make your payments on time.

How to make a payment

Bring your tax payment slip with a barcode on it to a nearby convenience store. Only cash is accepted at the cash register. Free of handling fees.



Note: Payment cannot be made if your tax payment slip is expired, without the barcode, the barcode cannot be identified due to smears, the amount of payment has been adjusted, or the amount exceeds 300,000 yen.

How to Apply for Convenient Payment Service

Please fill out an application for the Account Transfer Payment at either Koka City Hall or banking facilities, and bring your tax payment slip(s), bank passbook, and your personal seal to complete the application process.
